Like the lady Amy Westervelt says in her excellent piece on Faster Times, some people are embracing the spirit of this competition, and others… less so.
Many of our competitors have come up with some truly upsetting character traits and bad habits, and put together compelling reasons why we should send you away. Others… just really want to win the prize and can’t be bothered to pretend. There’s been all kinds of approaches from begging to bragging. And, although we’re not going to name names, a few people who’ve tried one approach but ended up getting our vote for another reason.
It really doesn’t matter to us – you are all our little children. But some of you have really gone all out and you are actually annoying us. We’d tell you to stop – but that would just make us look stupid. So instead, we’ll vote for you.
We should have known this would happen. We didn’t think it through – it was only a matter of time. Young Lauren O’Brien has broken out the H Bomb. The most annoying thing in the world. We’re quite tempted to just give her a holiday now to make it stop. It’s Crazy Frog. No, don’t look at it!
