Votes keep pouring in here at GROM, and we’re all very impressed with how much effort
some of you are going to. But why wouldn’t you go to extraordinary lengths to spread details of your cause all over the furthest reaches of the interweb? After all, 18 countries in six months, doing nothing but exploring some of the most incredible sights on the planet. Sounds pretty ker-azy to me.
While we’re talking about the prize, let’s have a look at what you’ll be up to when you reach China.
Starting with a tour of Beijing, which will include Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and The Summer Palace on Kunming Lake, you’ll then embark for the legendary Great Wall. Travel overnight by train to Xi’an to see the incredible Terracotta Warriors and Huaqing Hot Springs. After leaving Xi’an, you'll explore the Yu Long River, Xanadu and Yangshuo. Moving on to Longsheng you’ll visit the fascinating rice terraces of the Dragon’s Backbone before heading finally for Shanghai. Here you can visit the Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden and street market, The Bund, shop on Nanjing Road or take a cruise along the Huangpu River.
Now, that’s a heavily summarized version of what you’ll be up to, because I know that you are all fairly itching to get back on the campaign trail.
But afore ye go dear travelers, watch this video of what you’ll be getting up to. And for more even more detail, click here.
Wow? Yes indeed, wow. Here’s a link for sharing the video:
