So, we're sending two people around four continents on the adventure of a lifetime. Diving, hot air balloons, the Great Wall of China, safaris, the Taj Mahal, Bedouin feasts, the Trans Siberian Express... it's going to be OK for them.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the competition has attracted a lot of couples. We first noticed Julie and Murray and it's good to see their campaign is going strong. Then there's Krisztina & Jason and the now apart but hopefully soon-to-be-reunited Monique and Kevin.
And who could forget Sarah Kettlewell, who actually got engaged on one of our trips last year? (It was the total solar eclipse (July 2009) in China – now THAT is romantic.)
Then of course there's Tianne. We’re not sure if it's her magical prose style, but we don’t know if her future husband is even aware that she is coming to get him. Meanwhile this young lady is taking her hand puppet. No really, she is.
Today, we came across our first gooseberry. And boy, did we feel a flush of sympathy with this guy. Adrian Houldsworth has been living with a couple of friends for the last little while, but now that they are getting married he reckons he should probably move on – well, duh – and where better than a holiday of a lifetime?
Tell you what Adrian, if you don't win (we voted for you!) then you could always invite yourself on the honeymoon...
No please, please don’t.
